| | As Patreon continues to grow and evolve, we're always thinking of ways we can provide better transparency for creators on Patreon and those who will join in the future. We're making some changes to Patreon's policies and we have now created policies covering areas where creators have asked for more clarity including a cookie policy, copyright, and benefit guidelines. While as a patron most of these changes don't impact you, it's important for you to know that we have updated our terms of use and privacy policy. A complete set of policies can be found in a central hub: https://www.patreon.com/policy For the most part these changes are reflective of how Patreon's product has changed over the past three years. You may wonder how this impacts any creators you support. As with any change at Patreon, we have a creator focused process. To learn more about how Patreon approaches things like community guidelines, the Patreon blog provides some great information that helps creators to understand our process. These changes will go into effect for existing users on June 1st, 2019. If you agree to these changes, you don't have to do anything, just continue to use Patreon.
